Travel Dates !!!!

We got the call this morning. We are scheduled to leave around April 16th or 20th, with a Consulate appointment around the 28th. The Consulate appointment is the swearing in that we attend with many, many other families, telling the Chinese government that we will take this child and raise him as our own and basically give him a better life than what he would have in China. And in China's eyes, he is adopted over there and we don't have to go back again for any reason. I wish other countries would do that. We should know by Wednesday hopefully the exact dates of travel. YEA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are still waiting on Travel plans. Maybe next week? Anyway, new pictures below.

It has been brought to my attention that I don't have the correct age for Davis posted below with his new pictures. Davis will be 21 months old on the 19th of March. Sorry for that error. Let's hope I never have to help him with Math. lol

New Pictures To Share

We are hoping like crazy that we get our travel dates this coming week. But in the meantime, here are some new pictures that China Care Foundation sent us of Davis. He is starting to look more like a toddler than a baby. He will be 19 months old on the 19th of this month.

New Information

Just to let everyone know that we will probably be traveling in mid April. If the timelines stay as expected, that is when we will go to China. But we will continue to keep you informed as we get information. We know that many of you have been checking to see any new updates, but we will post as soon as we know anything else.

If you only knew how much we have to do now! Do you know how much car seats are?!! Kids are expensive aren't they? lol

WE ARE GOING TO CHINA !!!!!!!

Yes everyone it has finally arrived. Our adoption agency called today and spoke to David first, and gave the great news. It took me an hour to pull myself together. We will let you know when we have the actual dates of travel to China. I do know that we will be traveling with at least 3 other families for the first leg of the trip. We will keep you posted.
